Bennachie is a range of summits with exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. On the most significant peak, Mither Tap, there are remains of an Iron Age fort which is believed to have also been used in the Bronze Age as there are a number of standing stone circles in the vicinity.
Oxen Craig and Mither Taps stand tall at over 500 metres and provide a commanding view of the surrounding Scottish land. The tranquality is blissful and looking at the Iron Age fort ruins, it’s hard to imagine battles that would have taken place.
Our Bennachie walks are suitable for all ages and will fill you with the sound, scents and scenery of Scotland. On a clear day, a walk to the top will allow you to see all the way to the horizon.
